My Auto Pilot push arm, vintage early 2000's fell and broke apart dropping two little gears overboard. I am looking to buy from your old inventory of spares a Ray Marine auto pilot push arm like from a model 2000 auto pilot. Will buy just the arm, or may buy whatever you have as a whole package. Steve, do you mean a ST2000 or is it an older component system with a drive unit separate from the controller (like the 4000)? If you need a whole ST2000 I'd probably sell mine, which has been a third string backup.

Hey Bob J, It is a component system, seperate brain, seperate compass that drive unit looking like a shock absorber. It may well be a 4000. I left it on the boat. Will have pictures after weekend. I would like to just replace the drive unit. I may have to just buy your ST2000. However, I have a period of several weeks here to look for the part.

If it's a 4000, it's the same drive unit used on the other Raymarine pilots. Not cheap but readily available. (The 4000 is my second string backup.)

Yes, it is the same as used on other Raymarine pilots. So you say they're still availible thru Raymarine or whatever RM is called now? Anyone have a used one out there they want to sell? Seems I am looking for a 4000 push arm, drive unit.

Steve, I bought my last spare through Star Marine Electronics (by the Park St. bridge in Oakland). If I were you I'd get a new one and have them send your busted unit into Raymarine for repair. Then you'll have a spare.

It was the 2000+ self-contained unit I was willing to part with. I need to keep my spares of the larger drive units.

If you are into doing a bit of mechanical adaption you can purchase, for considerable savings, 3 rd party actuators like this: http://firgelliauto.com/product_info.php?cPath=114&products_id=318

There are several vendors and the units have a variety of loads, travel, duty cycle, etc.

Mine fell and cracked apart, loosing two little drive gears overboard. So I am looking for a RayMarine 4000 or newer drive unit, tiller pilot drive unit. Will pay green cash.

I could use any ST 4000 or newer drive unit: broken, frozen, motor doesn't work, went for a swim, etc. I just need parts to fix mine. Will pay cash for your broken unit. Reply to this thread.

Sorry, Steve, he threw a different one over.

Try Sea Chest in San Diego, on Scott St. They have all kinds of stuff.
