You could use the RYC race platform. It was used in the past before the RC felt there were too many boats. We promise to behave ourselves.

Christine and I were just at HMBYC yesterday and noticed that there are no moorings in the usual places. If you were planning on one you'll have to anchor. The dock is new and the ferry is back in...
What do you think about Eos taking the northerly route? I haven't seen him slow down less than 5 knots and is cutting the corner.
Gary Caballero and El Toros?
Thanks Richard. I guess the NOAA charts are not as accurate as yours. Is that Navionics you are using?
The marks SPCL-E and SPCL-5 cross the San Pablo Channel which is a restricted area.8325

We heard the news last night. It's hard to lose the people you always looked up to. She had a great sense of humor and was a big part of racing on the Bay.8129
Thank you race committee for hanging out on the rocks all day in the cold. It was one of the best run Fiasco's.
It's really sad to hear about the Hawley's beach house. Hopefully Neils and family above the creek are OK. I imagine the homes down below by the creek are flooded.
Stink Eye plans on racing doublehanded. Wind or no wind.
7702A couple of Artsy-Fartsy shots of Mayan and Yucca.
I don't know the answer about how or what but guessing "Dazzler" Tom P. is involved.
Any reports about Drakes in the southerly from the smaller boats with outboards? Outsider or The Pork Chop?
Having never anchored at Drakes in a southerly, how bad and how fast does it get bad? I'll make my decision after the models update but right now HRRR and NAM both say a southerly at 0500 Sunday.
Do some of the boats still fly assy spinnakers?
Eric's Olson 30 was named Polar Bear. And who beat him for the overall?
My un-educated guess would be Ants owned Jester (serial boat owner) and passed on the plexi dome to Bruce S. on Rumbleseat.
Does the "tack, back, jibe, set" work without banding the chute?

I really like the new course idea even though most of us didn't get a chance to try it. Hopefully we can have have a go at it next year. And thanks RC.
Christine and I are really bummed to hear this.
What's the depth into Drakes Estero? Wikipedia says the Golden Hind drew 13.5 feet. I know things have changed since back then but still...
I use low tech stretchy line for my traveler to help with the shock loads on a jibe. Like you we just fling the boom across. It make a loud bang but have only broke it once. (Ditch Run)
The best would be a strop around the end of the boom. The setup shown looks weak as the middle of the bolt takes the load and has chafe points.6870
