Meet at RYC Saturday morning at 7am to launch boats and drive cars/trailers to Napa Valley YC? Then carpool back to RYC for a 9am ish start? May get wife to drive us.

Your J was a sit on boat IMO... and the nice thing about sit on boats is you can flip them sideways to get under low bridges. Didnt you have your J sideways a few times...:-)

Dont view this as a one time deal - but the start of a few RAIDs per year. The first one coincident with V 1-2 is like a bicycle with training wheels (plus the great fun at VYC over a few beers :-)...

Wind blows upriver most days... and current carries all the way to Napa (we will be going with a flood). RYC did a cruise to Napa several months ago... a few 40 foot sloops drawing near 7 feet made...

Got me motivated to fix the leaks in my Laser... and give it a bottom job (I am halfway done AwlGriping). When its a 1972 boat one learned to sail and race on, it shows a bit of wear and tear. ;-)
