I'm reducing the price to $89,500 as I want to sell before moving abroad....
This is complete with all sails, liferaft, watt&sea, etc....

We are going to live in Holland for 14 months starting this summer and I decided to sell "TIJD". The First 30JK is a great single-handed boat as well as a great family cruiser...
You can find the...
I have worked with Sylvain for both my previous boat and my current boat. It didn't matter if I ordered 1 jib or a Main and 2 spinnakers, he always comes to the boat to measure, understand how I...
If it's the right boat for the right price, go for it. Norm is a great guy with a reputation, he will tell you exactly what you will get with this boat. Better to deal with Norm than directly with...
Brian,
You can use Asymmetrical spinnakers if they are not larger in size than your largest [measured] symmetrical spinnaker.
I moved to smaller asymmetrical spinnakers and fly them on a pole....
Any planning happening for 2017 LongPac?
I assume it will be around the same time as other years. July 5th or June 28th?
June 28th would be great because I will be able to make it.
Dirk "TIJD"...
I signed up. Let's see if I can participate in most of them this year...

Thanks for taking and sharing these great pictures. This was a great weekend. Fun to hang out with other skippers, and the racing was really close! The big pleasant surprise was that Rob...
Sailing Single-Handed in a double handed fleet is enough of an handicap (in my opinion). I remember the days in OYRA that single-handed boats got an extra 6 seconds over double-handed boats in the...
Well, looks like the skipper of the boat I used to race on in the 80's...
We never wore life jackets or had life lines. Also in most cases I did not wear foulies as the motto was "Everyone has the...
One of the most pleasant Farallones. Although it's not really a Farallones race without the big winds and seas...
I had a very bad start, crossing the line as last boat in the division. However...
I noticed the same buoy on the way out. I came very close and had to alternate course. I did not notice it moving when I passed it. It's much larger than the picture on Bob's link. Can't imagine...
As I decided not to sail the SHTP I have the following for sale:
Watt & Sea 300 hydrogenerator $2800
Brand new liferaft Recyou 4 person container. purchased 1 month ago from Sal's for $2463.-...
I would definitely favor a separate (later) start for the single handed boats....

Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
Dirk
It was a hazardous place today and I decided to sail very conservative. Bob, I think you got the worst of it during the start and at Blossom Rock. I went way outside to avoid the madness.
I think...
I don't have time to sail back so it would be great to have someone sail the boat back. I'm also looking at shipping the boat.
Anyone interested in sailing Tijd (Beneteau First 30JK) back, let me...
I'm pretty sure we took different routes.
I went TI, RR, BA
Looking at the finish times, I think there are still some finish times that need to be fixed.
I did not take my finish time but I believe it was closer to 15:50 vs the 14:50 it shows....
It would...
Maybe I go with the approach from last year. No plan at all :)
It worked out as having the best 3BF result to date...
Dirk "TIJD" First 30JK
Bob, you were well out in front and going really well! It's a great event to get going on racing and boat handling. My boat felt much slower as usual (compared to other boats). I hope mostly because...

Hi Alan, Congratulations and welcome back!
Looking forward to see you out on the water.

I'm thinking of leaving Sept 10th or Sept 24th depending on weather...
