There is a do it yourself yard here in Brookings, Oregon. You must have insurance. Round trip haul-out fee is $600 and yard days are $60/day for the first week, then $50/day until 1 month, then $30 a...
Thanks for posting the fun quizzes. My “yawn” was not intended as a slight … all in good fun.
I follow the Tally Ho rebuild closely as the boat was here in Brookings for a long time. A friend of...

Were the skippers even asked? All the trackers have the ability to set intervals....
Ah! its free......ok...point taken and sorry for coming across as an ingrate. What did the yellow brick setup cost? The synchronized ping would cost nothing BTW....and improve the tracker...

Where is the line drawn between the power assisted division, and boats that have powered winches....? Perhaps Bob Johnston can enlighten us?
Great. Do we know if this container is from one of the last two big container spills in the north Pacific? I suppose the drift is similar to that of the debris field generated by the Fukushima...
The adventure definitely isn't over! Cruising that area...just as desirable as a circumnavigation in my book. Hope to see it one day too.
Too bad, but the right decision. Commiserations Whitall...
