Strenuous? Maybe a meander, instead. Howard is going to help me replace a reefing block on my boom @ 10, then it's onward to Angel Island. Anyone else? $15 to tie up for the day.

Tomorrow I get to try out my "new" asymmetrical spinnaker with an improvised setup, using the carbon fiber pole/sprit from Greg Nelson! I'm taking a little break from nonstop ~building stuff~!

Turns out my home is actually prime A dock parking. A good life! I did a lap around Angel Island on Sunday morning, mostly with my (new to me) C0 up.Name: 20201129_085845.jpg

I am going to try and come down tomorrow 1/22 and get my spinnaker out of its snuffer sock and rolled up on a new Colligo top down furler. If it works as advertised, I hope to get some TBF practice 1/23....Rick

Today is looking like fine winter weather with winds from 5 to 15 from the SW. Maybe a few boats will venture south of the Bay Bridge in the uncrowded waters of the South Bay.

Friday is shaping up to be the day for a sail over to Angel Island for a hike. As per its website, the Angel Island grill is serving food (and lattes) to-go only. Ebbing through Raccoon Strait until noon, then a (kinda) big flood.
