Sailing Tomorrow
Thursday May 22
Going to the Fairy Building/Pier 1.5 if anyone is interested in meeting up.
-
WIll there be real live fairies, or is that just a stereotype?
-
I'm working tomorrow or I'd sail over. Any day Friday-Monday is open though, since I'm not racing to Monterey after all.

Hey Bob, if it is a boat issue you are welcome to come with me.
Sadly tomorrow I will in my tiny wretched cubicle sneaking looks at the wind forecast.
-
IRS auditor coming to our office . . . good but nervous client . . . want to trade?
When Gordie gets back from Monterey it will be time for my boat inspection. I better keep my nose to the grindstone - but thanks. Sneaking out for part of a day is about all I can afford this weekend.

On Wednesday to The Ramp for lunch.

I could be wildly optimistic (yes, wildly), but there might be wind tomorrow regardless of the forecast. Either way, I'll be sailing out of Richmond. Maybe slowly slowly, but on the water, and looking for (as Carliane might say) y'all.
-
Wildly optimistic or not, there was wind. Late wind, but it was enough to move Dura Mater. Or was that the 4.6 knot ebb? Well, whatever it was, we sailed/got flushed over to Point Blunt in no time, and it was lovely with all the cloud formations. Lots of people out there for one last sail before the relatives arrive.
When we arrived back at Richmond YC Harbor, there were twinkle lights on Six Brothers
And the sky looked like this as I covered the mainsail
Finally, in a blatant bid to upstage Surprise! before she comes back to E Dock, here is a photo of Dura Mater's Christmas present, snagged early.
Merry Christmas, everybody.

Anybody thinking of sailing on Boxing Day (i.e. Dec 26)? Room for two more?
Thanks
Max (& Jan B.)

Great photo's Jacquie. The colors in the that new Christmas line were perfect.
