Wait till you collect the trophies that are in Miss Lucy! One fills up the trunk and she has a huge trunk. The other one is about 18" square and is taking up valuable space in the backseat where more boat crap could be.

Actually, after measurement it looks like my stuff might be only 10 - 12 cu ft.

Is there an ETA for the crate at Hanalei??

Here is the updates I have:
Crate will be ready by this Thursday.
It will need to be packed and delivered to the freight forwarders [Island Freight] No Later Than 6/23 by 4pm in order to make the 6/25 sailing.
6/25 should have it available in Lihue by 7/8... Larry will pick up from there and deliver to the Race Committee compound in Hanalei.
I can take care of the delivery to Island Freight once its loaded.

Unless we can herd all of the various cats to one place, it will likely be best to deliver everything to the shop in Alameda.
Group Delphi is located at 950 West Tower Ave, Alameda CA 94501.
I will need to meet you here, so please call me first at 510-717-9271 and make sure I will be available.
yes, I can make some time over the coming weekend, but please let me know well in advance.

Lastly Transport cost.
estimate for ocean freight is $400.
In the past this has been shared equally by everyone using the crate, regardless of volume used.

Great! I'm in Alameda, too. I am getting the individual trophies ordered now, which should be ready by 6/22 or 6/23 (cutting it close, I know). So I will plan to be at your shop on one of those days, but will call you first to confirm.

I suppose that depends on how you define "first thing".
I will be working out in the mornings both days, and the gym is conveniently enough right next door.
SO, if by first thing you meant around 0830-0900 that would work best.

if not, either evening can work.

I dropped my stuff on Saturday, thanks Dave for being there and of course for the crate itself.

My impression is that there is still plenty of room in the crate for whatever... but I think it is getting nailed shut and off to the shipper in just a day or two.

Correct on both counts... on the other hand, I have not seen the trophies appear.
deadline for the crate to be at the freight forwarder is Thursday, 4pm.
