    Default Surveyors?

Would anyone be willing/able to recommend a good surveyor in Alameda?

The last time I had a survey done, I picked someone out from an online list of certified surveyors -- it was like picking a mechanic from the Yellow Pages. If I can get a recommendation this time, I'd feel better about that.

Please consider sending a PM if you'd rather not reply publicly -- I don't know if people feel comfortable making this kind of recommendation on an open forum. (I hope this is an appropriate topic for the forum!)

My boat is an Islander 28 built in 1975. I have a fairly new engine, but would like to know more about the state of the hull/deck/rig, etc. I believe the rig is about 10 years old.

    Thanks!
