    Fathoms!!! Which brings me to a funny story. When we were mid transit of the gap the driver asks me " what did you say this boat draws?" I was kind of hyperventilating at that point and did not hear him clearly. When we got through he says "gee whiz, I was seeing six feet on the depth sounder." Fortunately he was looking at speed, not depth. It was minimum 30 feet throughout. Having said that, there was a 5 foot cross swell which made things really interesting.

    I am truely sorry I gave in to a moment of weakness. It won't happen again

    And, yes, I absolutely blame Skip Allen!!!
