    I agree with the morale booster comment.

    Nice work and good on the progress.

    I noted that the RoG and Deer Isle Koster are relatively close in size. I will put together a dimension comparison for folks to see what options are available.

    I picked up a pair of 10' oars on Craigslist. Most likely whale boat oars from Mare Island according to the seller. Perfect!
    We don't want to be sticking delicate carbon blades into muddy rocky rivers. They're in pretty rough shape. No varnish happening here.
