Back to work. Here's a little extra kevlar at the knuckle.
That's the main mast drain tube in the background.
Here is a layer of 4oz carbon/kevlar cloth for the bottom and first chine. I got it from local boat wizard Gordie Nash who mentioned this stuff was from the U2 spy plane program.
And here is the 6oz fiberglass to encapsulate the whole thing.

I screwed up my materials and wound up without enough slow hardener so we didn't get the peel ply on as planned.
But here is a couple of fill coats.
I would like to read the rest of the article, please.
First round of fairing.
First coat of primer always looks ugly.
But what a satisfying next step.
