Yeah that's not confusing.

Here's the plumbing. I think he has a mistake that valve D is set up as a 3 way valve.

I'm thinking I'll make a cheat sheet:
R-R-R-R: fill STBD tank from sea
R-L-L-R:transfer STBd to port tank, etc...
It took a cup of coffee, some basic sketches on my part, and the system makes sense (sort of).
Once a tank is filled, the effort in going to the other tank while tacking is just switching the destination / source valve.
Do you have any idea how long the transfer would take when tacking?
How much water does each tank hold?
I may play with some ideas, such as only offering the option to fill only the port tank to see if the system would be simpler, always fill port tank / transfer port to stbd / dump ballast water. It is an interesting comcept after the basic transfers become obvious.
I look forward to hearing aboit actual ise.
Are sails delivered?

Actual use will be interesting. After that initial launch and motor test, I was wondering if standard practice might be to fill both tanks all the time. She seemed pretty tender. Even without the rig.
I think it was 8.5 gallons per side.
Sails are close. The battens came in yesterday. RBS with custom printing. Pretty slick.
