Default Three Bridge Fiasco 2019 Pictures

Thanks to all the race committee and SSS organizers for this years fiasco!

It was a beautiful day. I've posted some pictures here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UV5hf4sBV144o8ji9

Made it around Red Rock before dropping out of the race.

Hope Take Five's rigging is OK. I circled back to make sure everyone aboard was OK when his forestay popped and sail went in the water.

    Cheers,

    Matt Beall

Matt! It is great to have you back on the bay! And what a lot of nice photos. It seems maybe that you had forgotten how lovely it is out there at daylight and sunset. So here you are, sailing with us again.

Thank you to the race Committee. After retiring I tied up at GGYC and went up to the deck to watch the Race Committee in action, trying to finish at least sixty fast-is-fun boats within the space of 20 minutes. Great fun, as always. Jim Vickers, Kristen and the others were dialed in.

Great to see the mighty Tinker on the race course again!
Here are the pixs and videos I took on the bay.
It was a gorgeous day and a wonderful way to start the new racing season!

    1962 Buesher "Aristocrat" tenor saxophone
Piper One Design 24, Hull #35; "Alpha"

Deploying the A2 at the "Office". Reminds me I need to go visit Noodle Theory.

The Doublehanded Sailing Society gets ample coverage. SA, PD, & L38 only mention doublehanders. Might as well change the name to the DHSS.

I can walk there from my house. Post here. It will be a singlehanded sailing lunch/dinner. Saturday night Bob J, Rick E and I went for Thai with Steve Katzman and his crew, Will, after the race. Steve's almost a singlehander.

I needed a bacon cheeseburger after I got out of that Thai place.

And so many spicy little bits. So hard to pick each and every one out of your meal. That doesn't happen at Burger King, for sure! Maybe singlehanders need to be contained. Not allowed far from the boat.
