Default Robin Knox-Johnston report on knockdowns in the Golden Globe

Very interesting report by Sir Robin (That's what his friends call him) on knock downs in the Golden Globe, and the use of warps or drogues. Well worth reading for all of us who one day dream of sailing in 70 knot winds and 70 foot waves.

I'm probably not reading this right as I come to the conclusion that it's fifty fifty ... Warps or drogues don't seem to have ultimately made a difference. I'll have to read again ...

I think the report basically says that there are no guarantees, (surprise) and mostly in a small displacement boat it’s a matter of luck. Keeping the bow downwind and some speed on seems to be the best bet
