    The original halyards were wire/rope and they're full of meathooks. And....the rope tails are so old and never been used, that the ball of coiled up rope for the mail halyard has grown moss, collected soil and now has a couple of small plants growing out of it.

    NOT exaggerating.

    Thanks for posting the picture of the Piper. I was curious as to what it looked like. It should be fun to sail.

    The postal service predicts the Bodfish version of Boxing Day will happen on the 18th, or close to that date.
