    Looks like fun to me.

I still want to do something like this and I know someone with a big blue boat is very interested. I've also heard from another, newer SSS participant who is interested.

Is the middle of winter a good time for this? Should we wait until Spring, say, sometime well after the 3BF and before the next SSS race, giving it a couple of weeks at least, for "recovery"?

Just the kind of stuff I'm building the RoG for. Can't wait.

Fun to hear about this raid on 'Lectronic Latitude today.

Signed up to the forum to see whether anything develops for next year.

The past couple years I've done a similar solo trip in a 9ft Escape dinghy. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3yFBf8Mm04

Working on vessel options for the next RAID. This modified canoe (from the 1960's) does not have the speed of the kayak, but it offers to carry more gear and allow a change of clothing gear while underway.

    I can even fish.
