    Default Sal's

I've dialed the number Yelp gives me for Sals Inflatable Services a couple of times now...(510)522-1824 and all I get is a message that says that the number (510)522-1827 can't take my call right now...no message, nothing. Their facebook page hasn't been updated since Aug. 2019 and the website seems to be gone.

Is the company still in business?

Yes, but if you let it ring and ring and ring...nobody will pick up, and you get a canned answer that says 510-522-1827 can't pick up your call right now.

I know for a fact they are there... I drove past recently and the roll door is up and the fork lift moving about.
cant speak to their communication challenges.
PM me if you'd like me to put my mask on and walk in for you.

Joan wanted me to have flares for the May 30th Farallones run, and with me not knowing if Sals was open, and time getting short we bought 'em from Fisheries Supply. I might add that Fisheries Supply is about half the price of West Marine for SOLAS flares. The four handheld SOLAS flares were $17 each. The two smoke flares were $45 instead of $80 from WM. The non-SOLAS skyblazers were $51 for a pack of four instead of $80. We'll see about expiration dates.

I'll flesh out the requirements- the SOLAS parachutes at Sal's, later

All the flares I got will be good through the 2021 shtp, and most will expire in June 2022.

UPS was slow, slow....it was scheduled to be delivered on the 22nd, actually got here on the 26th, so that was about ten days. There were no hazardous shipping charges, though the Fishermans Supply website warned that there might be.
