    Default Free boaty books

I'm doing some cleaning out and now that I know that I'm never sailing to Micronesia, or building a boat bigger than about 16 feet, some stuff has gotta go.

    Cruising

Landfalls of Paradise, 4th Edition, Earl Hinz...basically a 1999 guide to the Pacific Islands paperback
Micronesia - Lonely Planet travel guide paperback
A Song for Satawal - quirky travelogue, of sorts. hardback

    A total classic...

Race Your Boat Right by Arthur Knapp - 1952

    Boatbuilding/Design books

Marine Diesel Engines, 2nd edition - Nigel Calder
Principles of Yacht Design - Larsson and Eliasson IMI hardback, NICE book.
Boatbuilding Manual - Stewart ...another NICE book heavy on traditional methods. Hardback
The New Cold Molded Boatbuilding - Reuel Parker paperback
The Geougeon Brothers on Boat Construction - hardback
Buehlers Backyard Boatbuilding - quirky paperback
From a Bare Hull - Ferenc Mate..a classic, very dated, now hardback

I'll break this subset up but you have to take at least 5 of them. I'm not going to the post office 16 times to mail a book to everybody who wants just one. Books are free, just gotta come up with Postage. I might be at the Vallejo 1-2 if there is one, I can bring them then...too.

If I don't get some commitments in a week for the boatbuilding and design books, I'm putting this up at the Wooden Boat Forum.
