    Hi Bob,

This is what you have implied with this statement, "We have doubts that all the boats who went to Red Rock first, rounded Blackaller before finishing. ". I am handing you the tools to deal with your concerns in the appropriate fashion.

The protest notice deadline was 9 p.m. Saturday night and in this situation you'd need to see the finish times.

I'm just suggesting skippers do the honorable thing, if they did not make it around the third "bridge" but allowed their finish to be recorded.

I saw many boat go inside the Richmond long wharf. I was able to hail boat to boat 4 of them on the sail to TI. I know of only one that checked his course on his chartplotter and dropped out right away, not sure about the rest. In my rounding group @ TI there were a handful of boats ahead of me but when I finished the RC said I was the first to finish in the CW direction so that group did go on to round Blackaller before finishing.

I kept moving fwd all day, even stuck in the windhole before the westerly filled in, thx to our esteemed SHTP vet Ruben Gabriel over at Berkeley Marine Center who splashed me the day before with a brand new hard bottom. We were moving like buddah! I gotta say that this was the least stressful 3BF ever, no crowds at the marks!! It was like I was just out of synch with everyone. Me likey
