This morning I sent this out to all the registered skippers via Jibeset, but just in case someone missed the email and the text message:

Hello, SSS Racers!

We've decided to MOVE THE STARTING AREA for the Anything Goes race to the Richmond YC "Bob Klein" buoy, a yellow can approximately 200 yards north of the Southampton Shoal Platform, in order to keep beginning singlehanders further away from the shipping channel in the pre-start.

We've also listed the Richmond Long Wharf as an obstruction, and will use VHF channel 72 for reporting retirements.

Make sure you get a copy of the sailing instructions that say "revision 2" with yellow highlighter.

We've also posted class assignments in the form of some "Entries" sheets, so you can see your class, start, handicap adjustments and so on. You can also see the handicap adjustments of your competitors. There's a couple different sorts.

Last but not least we've posted the competitor meeting slides from last night, for those who could not make it.

All of these documents are at the main jibeset page, https://jibeset.net/JACKY000.php?RG=T00937578

Thank you for racing with the SSS!

Richard, 2023 SSS Race Co-Chair
