    Default Missing Buoys

This is the third I have heard of gone missing in the last couple of months. Any one know what is up?

    Default YRA Buoys

The answer is simple. YRA has spent about $20,000 replacing and repairing buoys this year. There is no more buoy money for 2011. $20,000 is about 20% of YRA's annual budget. Hardly any races use Olympic Circle buoys anymore. Since it's only 20' deep most clubs use drop marks to set up courses that are true to the wind/current when holding races there.
